Alec Holcomb

Alec Holcomb?s journey to mastering the classical guitar began when he was six years old. Fourteen years later, Holcomb has accumulated an impressive set of accolades including first prize wins at the 2012 Parkening International Young Guitarist Competition, the 2014 Columbus State University Guitar Competition, and the 2015 Philadelphia Classical Guitar Competition. A former student of Vanderbilt University and currently at the Curtis Institute of Music, Alec?s technicality and interpretation of famed classical works have pushed the boundaries of the genre. Alec has performed on NPR and was selected as a YoungArts Finalist by the National YoungArts Foundation.
