Overall, in today’s business climate, employees are more savvy and know when they should be paid overtime. Employers can avoid labor based complaints. Although top management can always find the least expensive way to pay employees, often these non-compliant choices can lead to a poor business culture and poor work environment. In the end, FLSA compliance is the “right thing to do”.
