Economic Impact of New Contractor Law

An independent contractor is classified as an individual who does work for an individual or company. By definition a contractor must be independent and not an employee of the hiring company. Cleaning services are a perfect example of an independent contractor. The cleaners come into your office to do work, however they are not considered employees of your company.
