Economic Development & Advocacy Meeting


On August 1st Hasan Ikhrata, Executive Director of SANDAG, will be joining our Economic Development & Advocacy Advisory Council to provide an update to the Regional Transportation Plan. 

During his presentation Hasan Ikhrata will outline:
  • The bold new vision being developed for San Diego Forward: The 2021 Regional Plan.
  • This vision for the future of our region's transportation system will be delivered through 5 Big Moves: Complete Corridors, Flexible Fleets, Transit Leap, Mobility Hubs, and the Next Operating System (Next OS).
  • The 5 Big Moves are key strategies that outline a path forward to build upon existing infrastructure and create a balanced transportation system that enhances connectivity, increases safety and sustainability, and improves quality of life. 
  • This presentation will highlight how data is being used to help develop the 5 Big Moves and create a robust transportation system for the San Diego region.
