Economic Development & Advocacy Meeting - Proposed Tax Hikes

San Diegan's pay some of the highest taxes in the country, including the highest sales tax,  gas tax, state income tax, and some of the highest property taxes.

But that is not the end, there are more proposed tax hikes coming our way that will impact residents, homeowners, and businesses.

We will be joined by Carl DeMaio with Reform California to talk about Stopping Tax Hikes and Other Policies That Hurt Businesses.

Carl will discuss:

  • Updates on tax hikes being proposed both locally and statewide
  • Fighting for sensible COVID-19 policies and legal protections
  • Reopening schools and the direct link to a productive workforce

Meet Your New Supervisor! We are excited to have our new District 2 San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson join us to introduce himself and share insight into his policy priorities. After Supervisor Anderson presents he will be available for audience Q&A, this is a great chance to directly connect with him and share what is important to you as a constituent.
