This workshop will focus specifically on the skills required to effectively deal with the change required when changing roles from peer to supervisor. The focus will be on the communication strategies for both establishing trust while maintaining healthy boundaries.

The workshop will include the DISC Assessment tool which will be completed prior to class and results reviewed during the workshop. Topics include:
1) Setting clear boundaries and enhancing communication as a leader
2) Creating trust through the change of roles
3) Understanding your work style and how to understand others while working together to achieve goals.
4) Creating partnerships without bias
5) Setting clear performance expectations
