In 2013, Sony was a shadow of its former self. Many wondered whether the global, Japanese electronics innovator would recover. Mike Fasulo, President and COO of Sony Electronics for North America, let it be known in the fall of 2015 that Sony was back. Fasulo is described as having "Managerial courage, a proven track record of 'performing under the gun' and an unwavering passion for people, family and business."  He joined Sony in 1984 as a junior financial analyst and has been largely responsible for the turnaround of Sony's electronics business.
