This workshop is designed to equip participants with essential skills and techniques for effective communication and dialogue in leadership roles. We will discuss strategies that empower leaders to engage in meaningful conversations, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships with their teams. Participants will explore various aspects of successful conversations, starting with active listening techniques to truly understand others' perspectives and concerns. They will learn how to ask open-ended questions to promote dialogue, encourage diverse viewpoints, and create a safe and inclusive environment for discussion. Wendy Hovland is a communications strategist who specializes in the development and implementation of community outreach and public involvement programs for public and private agencies. Her experience includes leading crisis communication, reputation manage Wendy is also a voiceover and on-camera actor. Her communications work has won multiple awards from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals as well as the Public Relations Society of America.
