Military Affairs Advisory Council Meeting

The Military Affairs Advisory Council advocates for all active duty service members, veterans, and their families in San Diego County. This month we are excited to welcome by two excellent speakers, Jonathan Storud and Mark Balmert.

March 5 Council meeting topic: "Border Security Funding and the Impact on Military Construction"

Jonathan joins us to discuss the challenges he faced during his transition from the Marine Corps to civilian life. Executive Director of SDMAC, Mark Balmert will lead a discussion surrounding border security funding and its impact on military construction. His organization, San Diego Military Advisory Council, looks at the local economic impact of the military, and Mark will cover the impact border security funding could have on our region.
