Military Affairs Advisory Council Meeting

The Military Affairs Advisory Council advocates for the military community in San Diego.

Our focus:

  • Advocacy for all active duty service members, veterans, and their families in San Diego County
  • Working with elected officials and Chamber membership on legislation and issues that impact veterans and active duty service members
    • Advocacy to include but not limited to:
      • Housing
      • Jobs
      • Taxes
      • Unethical practices that impact active duty service members and veterans
  • Military Transition
    • Operation Connect, a San Diego North Educational Foundation program, educating and connecting veterans to businesses within the Chamber and the community
