PMI-San Diego Beach Clean-Up

The Project Management Institute San Diego Chapter invites you to make a positive impact on our community and environment! Our chapter has joined forces with I Love a Clean San Diego to host a beach cleanup at Ocean Beach Pier!

Let's come together to keep our beautiful beaches clean and safe for everyone.

When: August 11, 2024 9am - 12pm

Where: Ocean Beach Pier - 1850 Ocean Front St, San Diego, CA 92107

Who: You! Bring your friends and family, and let's work together to make a difference.

How:

1. Register for the event: https://pmi-sd.org/meetinginfo.php?id=1070&ts=1721755098

This event is free.
Each volunteer will need to register and sign a liability waiver before they can start the Cleanup. There is no cost to sign-up.
Forms will be collected at the check-in. A parent/guardian signature is required for volunteers under the age of 13.

?2. Keep an eye out for email communications from our team members prior to the cleanup.

3. Prepare for the event

Bring a reusable water bottle. (We will have jugs of water but individual bottles will not be provided)
Wear sunscreen
Dress in comfortable shoes and clothing
Bring along your reusable supplies, if you have them. Bringing your own bag or bucket and gloves helps reduce waste. We will have materials on hand for you to use.

The following materials will be provided:

Trash bags
Plastic gloves
Trash grabbers
Coffee
Breakfast Snacks
Water
