Rancho Bernardo Republican Women Federated monthly meeting

Come and enjoy a few hours with conservative women and hear Christopher J. Harris speak about our southern border.

Christopher is a member and official with the National Border Patrol Council Local 1613 and American Federation of Government Employees which represents US Border Patrol membership in the San Diego/Riverside/Orange/San Bernardino Counties area.  Christopher’s current position with the Union is Secretary of the Local 1613 Executive Board, and Director of Legislative & Political Affairs.

His current assignment is in the legislative & political arena at the federal, state, and local level.  Christopher has been on Fox News with Tucker Carlson and featured in recent Union Tribune articles regarding the unsafe working conditions for local US Border Patrol Agents. He works with various business groups, labor/union organizations, community groups and activists and non-governmental organizations. The goal is to build bridges and foster working relations with the various organizations they encounter.

Christopher’s career for over 35 years has been as a correctional officer, police officer/detective, federal officer, and federal agent at the local, state, and federal levels in New York and California.

He moved his family to California in 1997 as a federal agent of the US Border Patrol with the US Department of Justice and now with the Department of Homeland Security.

Christopher has worked for the last 20 years as a US Border Patrol Agent (Senior Patrol Agent). He is permanently assigned to the Imperial Beach Border Patrol Station in San Diego.  Like many other agents, he has been assaulted numerous times, including being struck in the head with a rock by a smuggler resulting in several years of medical treatment.
