Roger McGuinn and Marty Stuart with The Fabulous Superlatives

What do you get when you mix the Byrds’ signature 12-String “chime,” one of country music’s most celebrated pickers, toss in some of country-rock’s most beloved anthems and back it up with a road-seasoned band?  A dream concert for fans of the SoCal Country Rock sound, and an evening of music history.  Byrds founder and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Roger McGuinn takes the stage with five-time Grammy Award winner Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives to perform Byrd’s classics (“Mr. Tambourine Man,” “You Ain’t Going Nowhere” and “Turn, Turn, Turn”) as well as personal favorites from both Roger and Marty.  A concert borne out of Stuart’s weekly TV show, “The Marty Stuart Show,” this concert brings a bit of the Grand Ol’ Opry and the ‘60s Sunset Strip to Poway.
