This workshop addresses safety and security as areas of employer responsibility that are often delegated to HR departments. These areas have significant compliance requirements to meet and serious consequences for non-compliance.
Participants will learn about the moral, legal and financial obligations employers have in regards to workplace safety, including how to prepare and respond if OSHA conducts an inspection. This course will address the 10 most important things an HR professional should know about workplace security post-9/11 and provide techniques for how to integrate best practices of safety, security, and human resources leadership into the workplace.
