Written with American spirituals and folksongs, Porgy and Bess is an operatic folktale enchanting audiences for almost 80-years! From the soaring notes of ?Summertime? to the heart-clenching duet ?Bess, you is my woman now?, the music in this saga will reach us with deep emotional power. This grand opera will be presented by a chamber orchestra, The Center Chorale along with the guest soloists, Cedrick Cannon and LaRose Saxon. Cedrick and LaRose, husband and wife, will enchant you with the singing roles of the opera, which they have performed more than a hundred times!
