Susan England, England, Ponticello & St. Clair Those who have the responsibility of handling workers? comp claims, whether from an administrative standpoint or from a financial standpoint, must stay on top of the complex issues associated with workers? comp. Employers understandably struggle with the employee who doesn?t cooperate?not returning calls, not going to doctor or physical therapy appointments as required, refusing light or modified duty. Employers often wonder when, if ever, they can terminate benefits or even employment; struggling with accommodation requests and fitness for duty tests. The purpose of this roundtable is to provide attendees with practical, up-to-date information on the workers? compensation process while providing practical tips and resources.
