For intermediate to advanced musicians in grades 6-12, the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra offers a Summer Music Program in two parts: an Orchestral Intensive session and a Chamber Music session. Directed by YPO Artistic Director and Conductor Alyze Dreiling, the Summer Music Program builds on the successful debut in 2017 with a Chamber Music program offering a unique opportunity for musicians to study and perform trios, quartets, and quintets, and an Orchestral Intensive program with full orchestra rehearsal, score study, and performance.
