  • About

The American Eye Cancer Association is a new non-profit organization formed to provide compassionate support to eye cancer patients and their families through education, access to resources, financial assistance and patient advocacy. We need your help to raise money to assist patients afflicted with this deadly disease.

Ocular melanoma is a rare, but deadly disease. Because of its rarity, there are only a handful of doctors throughout the country that can treat the disease, especially if it spreads throughout the body. Therefore, patients often have to travel, generally at their own expense, to receive state-of-the-art treatment and to participate in clinical trials.

According to the Eye Cancer Foundation, there are only 57 ocular oncologists throughout the country, and according to clinical trials.gov there are only 22 ocular melanoma trials in the United States.

Your generous donations will allow the American Eye Cancer Association to provide financial assistance and access to world class resources that patients and their families may otherwise not be able to afford. Every donation helps, no matter how small.
