IAW San Diego: Managing Successful Career and Life Transitions

Adjusting to career or life transitions comes with a trickle of effects we might not realize at the moment. These unexpected realities can bring excitement, fear, and oftentimes overwhelm us. While transitioning, we can create forward success by planning for the changes and the unknown.

 

On Thursday, November 15th  IAW San Diego will host Maggie Meza. She will share how to successfully manage your career and life transitions for the best life. Recognizing what is involved in career changes and movements means looking at how the career changes affect your personal life and what may be missing.

Meet Our Guest Host | Maggie Mezza

Maggie Meza is the San Diego Chapter Director for Blue Star Families. It is a non-profit supporting military families to thrive as they serve by connecting them with their neighborhoods to create vibrant communities of mutual support. She has a strong background in volunteering, advising, holding several executive board member positions, and fundraising for numerous organizations that advocate for military families. Maggie serves on the San Diego GI Film Festival Advisory Board, the San Diego Veterans Coalition Family Life Action Group (FLAG), the Military and Veterans Affairs Council for the 76th Assembly District, and Co-Chair for the North San Diego Business Chamber Military Affairs Advisory Council. Maggie was nominated for the 2022 North San Diego Business Chamber Leadership Award. 

The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online professional networking platform that provides women with the forum, education, and services to thrive in an interconnected world.
