For planning purposes, we will start the tour in the construction trailer to provide a a general overview of the project. We will then tour the construction up close. Generally, tours take 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the group. Everyone must please wear closed-toe shoes (this is non-negotiable). They will supply a vest and hard hat. Photos are accepted and highly encouraged of the project! Areas of Focus: Role and Responsibilities: Members of the Sustainability Advisory Council will serve as key thought leaders and decision-makers in shaping the Chamber's official stance on sustainability-related matters. They will engage in open and constructive discussions, leveraging their expertise and perspectives to drive consensus on policy recommendations. The council members will also be tasked with voting on the Chamber's official position concerning public issues that impact businesses and workers in our region. Advocacy and Collaboration: The Sustainability Advisory Council will actively engage with local and regional stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, educational institutions, and community groups. By building strong partnerships and alliances, the council will amplify its advocacy efforts, promote best practices, and collaborate on initiatives that support sustainable economic growth. Parking directions are provided on the flyer below. From the parking site we will shuttle you to the construction in a Sprinter van that carries about 10 individuals at a time. At the conclusion of the tour, we will shuttle everyone back to their cars, again in batches.
