DylanEconomic Development & Advocacy Meeting
On December 5th the Economic Development Advisory Council will be hear presentations regarding an important housing initiative on the March 2020 ballot, Save Our San Diego Countryside.
This initiative, if passed, would require a public vote on back-country housing developments of six or more units that don't meet the County's General Plan. It would effectively strip the County Board of Supervisors of their land use authority, placing all minor and major decisions in the hands of the voters in San Diego County.
The SOS initiative has the potential to forever alter how housing is created outside of the County's General plan. Resister to hear presentations and understand how impactful this can be on the future of our region.
