The Economic Development & Advocacy Advisory Council works with elected officials, community leaders, Chamber Members, and other organizations to shape policies that help to promote business creation, sustainability, and growth. Areas of focus include jobs, employment and business retention that stimulates overall economic growth, and improves the quality of life in the region. The Advisory Council also facilitates the Chamber's Think Local First initiative, whose goal is to support buying, hiring, and contracting locally.
