Emerging Leaders Pacific Beach Clean Up

Our Emerging Leaders Advisory Board has moved forward with scheduling a variety of volunteer opportunities for those within the Emerging Leaders Network.

On Saturday, April 20, we will be working with I Love a Clean San Diego for the 22nd Annual Creek to Bay Clean Up and we have 50 spots reserved for our group!

To register within the group spaces, please do so directly herewith.

We will meet at Tourmaline Surf Park in Pacific Beach around 8:45AM as a group, for 9AM Check In for the event. 

I Love a Clean San Diego will have a site captain there at check-in. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, some form of sun protection (sunscreen or a hat) and bring a water bottle or two. The site captain(s) will be providing everything else you will need! After a short orientation and safety talk you will be sent off to remove litter around the area! The site captain(s) will be in charge of sorting and disposing of the collected litter and after the cleanup you can request community service verification in your Community Hub dashboard.

When you register, please ensure you complete the required liability waiver that will pop up in your volunteer account.

We will be there from 9AM-10:30AM but you are welcome to arrive earlier or stay after.
 

The park is located at 601 Tourmaline Street, San Diego, CA 92109.  We will meet at the northwest corner of the Tourmaline Surf Park parking lot.
