The workshop will also cover techniques for engaging different types of audiences, including how to tailor your message to different learning styles and how to address difficult questions or objections. Participants will learn how to use body language and vocal techniques to convey confidence and authority, and how to handle unexpected situations, such as technical difficulties or distractions.

Karen DeGasperis is a licensed REALTOR and team leader at DeGasperis & Assoc - Real Estate. Her impressive background includes experience in civil engineering, software development, and product management, before transitioning into the real estate industry to pursue her own aspirations.  Karen has been a licensed REALTOR since 2008 and is licensed in both California and Georgia. In 2023, she was honored with the Bronze Circle of Excellence Award, which is a testament to her dedication and excellence in the industry.  Aside from her real estate work, Karen is actively involved in various community organizations to promote home ownership, protect private property rights and uphold the code of the ethics and standards for REALTORS. She serves on the Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS Board of Directors, Government Affairs Committee, REALTOR Political Action Committee and Professional Standards Committee. She is also a member of the North County Business Chamber and serves on the Economic Development and Advocacy Council. Karen was the past President and current Vice-President of the Organization of Networking Entrepreneurs group.  When she's not working or volunteering, Karen is an avid marathon and trail runner. She has completed 13 marathons, including the prestigious Boston Marathon twice.  As a REALTOR, Karen specializes in helping her clients get the most value when buying a home and ensuring they receive the most cash possible when selling.
