David Shields, president of Component Surfaces, has been elected Board Chair for 2023 -2024 by the Board of Directors for the North San Diego Business Chamber. Shields’ new position is effective July 1, 2023.
Stacey Hrountas, current Board Chair, will stay on the Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chair.

The North San Diego Business Chamber has named Chris Thorne as the new Chief Executive Officer effective July 1. Thorne will succeed Debra Rosen, who is retiring June 30 after 14 years as the Chamber president and CEO.

Debra Rosen, North San Diego Business Chamber’s president and CEO for the past 14 years, is retiring on June 30.
